Privacy Policy

Effective September 27, 2026. Plain English, no surprises. Questions? Email … or open a ticket.

Who controls your data

The company responsible for the personal data collected on this site is Greensly Ltd (trading as Greens.ly), a Canadian outdoor furniture company with its factory in Ontario, Canada. Greensly Ltd is the company that sells, charges for and stands behind every order.

Because we operate from the UAE and deliver in Canada, your order data is processed in both places, always for the purposes described below and nothing else. Data enquiries and privacy requests: ….

What we collect

When you place an order we collect only what the order needs: your name, email and delivery address (street, city, province, postal code). When you browse, our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security and troubleshooting. The support ticket and chat features collect the details you type into them.

How we use it

To build, deliver and support your chair order: order confirmation, production updates, delivery scheduling, after-sales service, and answering your questions. We also use order information for accounting and fraud prevention. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Marketing emails

What you get. If you claim a welcome discount code, we email you the code straight away, then about one email a day for two weeks: the chair, the colours, answers to common questions, and your code as its value goes up. The emails stop as soon as you pay for an order. If you start an order and don’t finish paying, we may send up to two reminders about that order.

How to stop. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom — it opens a page with one button, no sign-in — and you can simply reply “unsubscribe” to any of them. Order confirmations and delivery updates for anything you’ve bought still arrive.

What we keep. Your email address, the store you shopped in, the code you claimed and which emails we’ve sent, so the series stays in order and stops when you buy. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked “do not email” so the series can’t start again. Ask us and we’ll delete it entirely.

Who sends them. Greensly Ltd (Greens.ly). They are delivered by our email provider, Resend, which uses your address only to deliver them. We never sell or rent the list.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment partners — Stripe and Whop. Your card number goes directly to them over an encrypted connection; we never see or store your card details. Their handling of your data is covered by their own privacy policies (stripe.com/privacy, whop.com/privacy).

Advertising & analytics

We advertise on Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). When those campaigns are active, their measurement tags — such as the Google tag and the Meta Pixel — may set cookies or use similar technologies on this site to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads (for example, reminding you about a chair or colour you looked at). These tools may collect your IP address, pages visited, and actions like starting a checkout.

We also use Hotjar to understand how the site is used — it records anonymised replays of page interactions (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, the pages you visit) and aggregates them into heatmaps, so we can see where the colour picker or the checkout is confusing. Hotjar masks the text you type into forms, and card details are entered in our payment partners' own secure frames, which it cannot see at all. It is analytics, not advertising: nothing it collects is used to target ads to you.

You can opt out any time: Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), Meta Ad Preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences), Hotjar's own opt-out (hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out), or industry tools like aboutads.info/choices. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely — the store works fine without them.

Cookies & local storage

The store itself uses no advertising cookies of its own. Your browser stores only what checkout needs to function: your cart configuration, your recent order number (so the tracking page can greet you), and a random session identifier that powers our own first-party visit statistics — it identifies a browsing session, not you, never leaves our systems, and is deleted when you close the tab. Third-party cookies appear only from the ad-measurement tags and the Hotjar analytics described above.

Who we share data with

Only the partners needed to get your chair to your door: payment processors (Stripe, Whop), the carrier delivering your order (your name and delivery address, so it reaches you), and the ad platforms described above (measurement events only). Each partner may only use your data to provide their service to us.

Your rights & retention

Email … to request a copy of the data we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. We keep order records for as long as we support your order (plus any legally required accounting retention), then delete on request. We answer every privacy request within 30 days.

If you are in the UK, the UK GDPR also gives you the right to restrict or object to how we use your data and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data or a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk — though we would like the chance to put it right first.

Children

This store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. Material changes are announced on the site.
