Muskoka chairs for the porch
The porch chair was always white and always needed painting again by July. Not any more.
A covered porch is gentle on furniture — no rain, less sun — and a Muskoka chair there is about the look and the sit. White is the classic and stays white; Green and Cedar are the traditional alternatives. Two chairs and a table per 8 feet of porch, in a row facing out. Leave the ottoman off unless the porch is 8 feet deep. Chair or rocker?
