Muskoka is where the chair got its Canadian name: the three big lakes north of Gravenhurst, the steamship-era resorts, and a century of cottages with two chairs at the end of the dock. It is also two hours from our factory, which makes it the shortest delivery we do.
The Muskoka summer is bright and short, the winter is long and snowy, and the dock comes out in October. A chair here needs to shrug off sun from the water, a metre of snow, and a decade of being dragged to the fire. On the dock · At the cottage.
