Greens.ly vs Polywood
Polywood made recycled HDPE furniture a category. We make one chair in it, in Ontario, for less.
Polywood has been making HDPE lumber furniture since 1990 and, if you have heard of one recycled-plastic chair, it is theirs. The material is the same class as ours: high-density polyethylene, pigmented through, UV-stabilised, milled into boards. Their range is very wide; ours is one chair, one ottoman and one side table. That focus is most of the difference.
We are not going to tell you their chair is bad. It is not. What we can tell you is where the two differ, so you can decide which matters to you. Their figures below are from their own published information at the time of writing; check their site for the current numbers.
