UV stabiliser
An additive that stops sunlight breaking down plastic.
Ultraviolet light breaks the long molecules in plastic and the lignin in wood; that is fading and chalking. A UV stabiliser absorbs or neutralises it. Ours is mixed through the melt, so it protects the whole board rather than a surface skin. Why that matters.
