Composite (wood-plastic)
Wood fibre mixed with plastic; most composite decking.
Composite boards blend wood flour with polyethylene or PVC. Better than wood outdoors, but the wood fibre can still take on water, so composite can stain and, in cheaper grades, mould. Our chair is 100% HDPE, with no wood in it.
