The Green Adirondack chair
A deep forest green that settles into planting, hedging and tree cover.

Green is the color for a chair that lives among trees. It is a deep, slightly blue-toned forest green — the color of a spruce in shade — and against a lawn or a hedge it settles in as if it grew there. It is the traditional color of park and garden furniture, done properly.
It pairs naturally with Cedar for a woodland set and with Sand for a softer garden one; a Yellow ottoman with a Green chair is the classic country-house pairing. It looks especially good against grey stone and against white render.
Being dark it warms in full sun, though in the tree shade it is designed for that never comes up.

Questions
Is Green a bright green?
No — a deep forest green, closer to spruce than to grass. It recedes into planting rather than standing out from it.
