Where it goes

Adirondack chairs for the dock

Sun from above, sun off the water, spray, wind. And heavy enough to stay out of the lake.

Adirondack chairs for the dock

Nothing is harder on a chair than a dock: reflected UV from the water doubles the sun, spray and rain keep it wet, wind has a clear run, and in the north the whole dock comes out in October. Wood greys in a season here. Resin blows in. HDPE lumber absorbs no water, is stabilised through the board, and weighs enough that a gust moves the cushion and not the chair.

Layout

Two at the end, facing out, a table between if the dock is 6 feet or wider. Face them at the view, not each other.

Colors

Blue and White is the dock. Red and White is the boathouse. Harbour Grey is weathered cedar without the splinters. Blue.

If it goes in

It sinks, it does not drift, and it comes out unharmed.
