Adirondack chairs for the garden
Designed for a slope, it sits level on a lawn. Green disappears into the planting.
Thomas Lee designed the chair for a hillside, which is why it sits properly on uneven grass: the tilt is in the frame. Green settles into planting; Cedar reads as natural; Sand is soft against a lawn. The one chore is moving them for the mower, and 38 lb tips and walks easily. Leave them out through winter; the grass under them recovers in a week.
