An Adirondack chair as a gift
It will still be on their dock in twenty years. That is the gift.
The occasions
A new cottage, a retirement, a wedding, a fiftieth, a parent who has everything except somewhere comfortable to sit outside. Two chairs is the usual gift; two chairs and a table between them is the generous one.
Color
If you know their deck, choose for it. If you do not, Cedar is never wrong, and the color can be changed free of charge any time before the chair goes into production, so you can tell them and let them choose.
Delivery
Enter their address at checkout and yours for the receipt. Delivery is free anywhere in the lower 48 states, in about 3–6 weeks, so order at least that far ahead of the day. The carton has no price on it.
The card
We do not put anything in the box. Tell them yourself; it is a better card.
